A council family event with archery, BB guns, an obstacle course, bouncy houses, STEM, and more.

October — Rain Gutter Regatta

ScoutCon (also known as Webelos Meet and Greet) Oct 1, 6:30-8:00 PM

A time for Webelos and AOL Scouts the opportunity to meet with Scouting troops to assist in identifying a Scouting unit to cross over to next Spring. The program will be held indoors at the Fellowship Community Church on Thursday, October 1st from 6:30 to 8 PM. Scouting troops will have displays set up to demonstrate their programs and opportunities to meet with the unit leaders. A great opportunity for your Webelos and AOL Scouts and fulfill their AOL requirements.

Scout Secret Science Day at the Denver Zoo - Oct 3, 1:00-4:00 PM

Through hands-on activities, care challenges, and animal demonstrations, scouts will engage in science practices of making observations, discussing ideas and sharing what they have learned.

AOL Scouts Only - Troop 316 Open House - Oct 6, 6:30-8:00 PM

We’re Troop 316 in Castle Pines, and we’d love to have you join us as you work toward your Arrow of Light and get ready to cross over into Scouts BSA!

Come check out Troop 316 on Tuesday, October 6th, from 6:30–8:00 PM at DCS Montessori Middle School, 341 Max Drive, Castle Pines.

We’ll give Cubs and parents a chance to see what Troop 316 is all about—including:

🏕️ Explore our camping trailer and see how we set up for adventures in the great outdoors
🗺️ Learn about our campouts and the places we explore
🔥 Hear about summer camp and all the fun that comes with it
⚜️ Discover how Troop 316 works and how Scouts advance through the ranks

Pack Meeting: Rain Gutter Regatta — Thursday, Oct 8, 6:30 PM

Scouts build and race sailboats down water-filled gutters using nothing but lung power. A pack favorite!

Calling all Scouts! Cub Scouting Advancements for Wolf, Bear and Webelo Water Requirements Afternoon aquatic activity options: Swim Checks, Water Related Advancement. Fun for all Scouting programs!

Boo at the Zoo Scout Night: Habitat Heroes - Oct 17, 4:00-9:00 PM

Scouts will have access to the exclusive Scout Night: Habitat Heroes zone to engage with interactive learning activities, meet animal ambassadors up-close, connect to the natural world, and earn a special patch. This program pairs perfectly with an evening of trick-or-treating!
